Summer Schedule

So...I find myself being lazy. And so very hard to get up and do the things I know I need to do around the house. I don't want to waste this summer. I don't want to give the kids free range and let them watch t.v. or play the wii all. day. long. I want to make a schedule for me and the kiddos. I just don't know where to begin.
How do you make a summer schedule?? What are some of the things you do on a daily basic to make sure your house work doesn't get behind??
Anything will be helpful....

Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." John 6:29

  1. I am a schedule/routine/list writing nut! My kids have summer chores posted....and we have a daily 30 minute reading time & a chart to put stickers on....and a menu posted. We're all about posting things for the kids to read/see/do!

  3. We often will throw our schedule out the window in the summer but not our chores and we try to get those done in the morning. Only after they are finished my kids are able to do whatever they like. I have been blessed with them loving to read so I don't have to remind them they just do it on there own. I try to keep the tv off as much as possible!! I do like to be a little more laid back in the summer it is nice for me to take a little break as well. although this summer it looks like our top priority will be keeping cool :) My daughter is going to wear out her snow cone machine hehehe ... Enjoy your summer and thanks for visiting with me over at my blog I am going to follow along with you here as well you have a beautiful family ~Love Heather
